In Ignatian prayer/meditation, we use our imagination to reflect on a Gospel passage in order to gain personal insights regarding the meaning the passage has for us. To do this, you place yourself in the Bible passage on which you are meditating. Your intuition may encourage you to see yourself as one of the characters in the story, or as a bystander watching the characters. You gently immerse yourself in the story, using all of your senses, to discover the meaning the story has for you today. The beauty of this meditation is you can repeat it many times and learn something new with each repetition.
